Let's know more about corona virus and how it impacts human body followed by the habits which can prevent us from getting infected by life threatening corona virus disease as "prevention is better than cure"



What is corona virus ?

Corona viruses are a group of related RNA viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans and birds, they cause respiratory tract infections that can range from mild to lethal.


Mild illnesses in humans include some cases of the common cold (which is also caused by other viruses, predominantly rhinoviruses), while more lethal varieties can cause SARS, MERS, and COVID-19.


There are as yet (year 2020) no vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections.


When was corona virus infected first ?



The earliest reports of an illness caused by a coronavirus occurred in the late 1920s, when an acute respiratory infection of domesticated chickens emerged in North America.

The World Health Organization declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020 and a pandemic on 11 March.



As of 12 September 2020, more than 28.4 million cases have been reported across 188 countries and territories with more than 915,000 deaths; more than 19.2 million people have recovered.









#7 Habits To Avoid Getting Infected By Corona Virus Disease



Identified below habits based on my personal experience which helped me to safeguard me my family from virus in pandemic. If followed each one of them seriously , corona virus can never infect you for sure ....




1. Drink Hot Water 

Drink hot or warm water every morning at least 100 ml


benefits: hot water intake helps to kill virus in mouth or throat , virus stays in mouth or throat for at least 12 hrs before entering into lungs. 

So drinking hot/warm water in morning as well regular intervals if exposed to outside activity always helps to prevent corona disease at first stage itself.




2. Hot Water Steam

Take host water vapors or steam at least once or twice in a week 


benefits: Steam enters through throat as well as nose which helps in displacing virus and killing them where drinking hot water helps a bit.



Taking steam regularly also removes virus appearing on most exposed body part i.e. face , nose , neck etc. 











3. The Mask

Wear mask which can cover nose & mouth completely when at least 1 person is around at distance of 1 meter. 

Do not move mask from chin to nose n vice versa it will increase the chances of infection due to virus presence on face. 





Mask to be washed after every 2-3 usage if made up
 of cloth.









benefits: mask helps to protect us from droplets from other infected person.





4. Social distancing 

Keeping at least one hand distance from any one other individual than family members (incl animals too)


Stay away from all social gathering , crowded places , plan your visit to market in off peak hours such as early morning or on week day office timings.




benefits: keeping distance always reduces chances of getting transmission. 

At-most care should be taken while talking , travelling in public / private vehicles , lift etc.





5. Regular exercise 

At least 15 min exercise in the morning, anything which can pump up your lungs is beneficial.















Yoga is considered to be the best form of exercise which keeps body posture & inhalation in sync.

Expose yourself to morning 8-10 am sunlight to generate vitamin 'D' which is enough for a week 

Take a long breath n hold it for 20 seconds and breath out. Repeating this 2-3 times any time in day helps.

benefits: Exercises involving pumping of air in to lungs helps to provide more amount of oxygen to body and strengthens heart/lungs muscles.




6. Immune booster Medicine 

Consider taking immune booster such as chavanprash (available in any indian / asian store) along with warm water in morning helps alot.

Arsenic-30 tablets proven best immunity medicine during pandemic.


Adding any Vitamin 'C' fruits like kiwi , oranges , lemon to daily diet helps.

benefits: Immunity medicines keeps us away from generic disease like cold n cough and helps to keep body healthy to fight against corona.

Although , only taking immune medicines will not prevent from getting infected by corona as it has to be accompanied by other habits mentioned.





7. Faith

Remain positive & have a faith in all actions that you perform are beneficial and going to keep you and family safe from corona.

benefits: Staying positive helps to build confidence and reduces chances of depression. 

Keeping faith in all the prevention measures we perform, helps to activate happy hormones and builds enzymes which prevents any disease.
